HYANNIS, MA - Issued April 15, 2026: The 10th Annual Charter Cup Fishing Tournament will take place on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Baxter's Fish 'N Chips in Hyannis.

Since its inception in 2017, the Charter Cup Fishing Tournament has raised more than $2.7 million in support of charitable organizations, a remarkable achievement made possible by the continued generosity and dedication of the community.

Now celebrating its 10th year, the tournament remains deeply committed to its mission of giving back by donating 100% of all proceeds to a diverse group of nonprofit organizations. These charities provide critical services that impact countless lives across Cape Cod and beyond - from coordinating emergency flights for critically ill patients to empowering youth through mentorship and education.

Participating organizations also deliver essential support to individuals with physical and developmental disabilities, provide resources for children and adults battling cancer, advance early childhood education, strengthen local law enforcement initiatives, expand access to affordable housing, and promote innovative healthcare and diabetes research. 

The 2026 beneficiaries include Angel Flight NE, Barnstable Police K9 Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands, Cape Abilities, Cape Cod Challenger Club, Cape Wellness Collaborative, Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod, Housing Assistance Corporation, Joslin Diabetes Center, May Institute, Nantucket Boys & Girls Club, Special Olympics MA, Tommy’s Place, Yarmouth Police Foundation, and YMCA of Cape Cod. Additionally, six more charities will be selected to benefit from the tournament’s live auction.

The Charter Cup Fishing Tournament invites the community to join in supporting these impactful organizations. Contributions to one or more of the participating charities will help create lasting, meaningful change for individuals and families in need.
