Mission:

The mission of the Charter Cup Fishing Tournament is for local businesses to come together to raise money for Cape Cod charities in need of additional funding.

About:

This is an invitation only, one day event, with a group of local businesses and fishing boats teaming up to raise money for their chosen charity. Each boat needs to raise minimum of $2,500 to enter the tournament. 100% of all money raised will directly benefit the participating charities. The winning boat with the heaviest bluefish and striped bass receives an additional $1,000 for their charity.

Joslin Diabetes Center will be added to this year’s tournament. Although this nonprofit is not based on Cape Cod, it has changed E.J.'s life for the better and he wants to assist other diabetics in need of support. We have also added the Cape and Island Veterans Outreach Center supported by Mid-Cape Home Center. Shepley Wood Products has also joined the tournament as the business supporter of Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod.

We are now seeking donations in the amounts of $1,000, $750, $500 and $250.

Please make checks payable to the charity of your choice (listed above) and mail the check to E.J. Jaxtimer: 48 Rosary Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601.
