Designed by Dewing Schmid Kearns Architects + Planners and built by E.J. Thoughtfully nestled into the picturesque Cape Cod landscape, the home’s strategic placement was paramount to its vision. This careful consideration allowed for uninterrupted views of an adjacent golf course, effortlessly blurring the lines between the architectural design and the inherent beauty of the environment.

A key element in achieving these scenic views was the installation of oversized Marvin windows with black trim throughout the entire home. This deliberate design choice profoundly enhances the natural light that filters into every corner, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere, and perfectly frames the picturesque views. The exterior of the home was finished with white cedar shingle siding, Alaskan yellow cedar shingle roofing, and ACRE trim, a 100% tree-free sustainable building material designed as an alternative to traditional wood or PVC trim.

A key element chosen by the homeowner is the 7-inch rustic prefinished engineered European French white oak flooring, specifically in the GIBBS POND shade installed by Mac Davis Flooring.
